Sh*tty Service - A minimalist storytelling game about wanting to be anywhere else..
A downloadable game
Shitty Service is a game that was made after waiting 25 minutes in line at a local (Large Coffee Franchise of Significant Origin) to receive the wrong order. It is an experience many of you i'm sure have shared, and is told from the perspective of the employee, who has to deal with cranky assholes such as myself and others.
It is a storytelling game meant to be played in a group of 3 to 6 players (preferrably those who have worked in customer service and know how fucking terrible people are) , each assuming the roles of overstressed Coffeemancers desperate to coincidentally get let go and collect benefits, rather than outright get fired, or worse.
And you'll need to have four six sided dice for it. (and something to write on. Index Cards are great.)
It's a game of telling a small story about menial work, but running risks, taking peer-judged chances, and being the worst person ever, and potentially, getting to enjoy a Governmentally sponsored weekend off.
It might suck. It might not. It's a few pages and it's just about the price of a coffee.
If it sucks, call a cop. IDGAF.

You should get this game. Play it with your Grandpa for an extra good time. Out of ventisimo cups? Meh, I'm sure they'll appreciate their mornin brew served in that crusty soda can night shift left under the register counter. They won't die... Probably...
